Summary:
This is an expressive arts class guided by Kymberlee Stanley, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist/social worker and Chestnut Group PHYO faculty, however, this class is neither professional group therapy, nor it is about making an art product. It is about the process of finding and expressing emotions, and checking in with our souls and providing ourselves care. Kymberlee will be using Internal Family Systems as a “parts therapy” model for inspiration for her guided discussion of this expressive arts process. Each participant will be guided through three therapeutic art directives and will leave with three individual art process pieces. Participants are invited to share with each other about their experiences during class, but this is not required. No art experience necessary. Minimum class size 5, max is 11. Snacks provided. Address and more information provided once class date is confirmed. Payment will be collected by Venmo - first five people to pay are confirmed for class.
